Job Overview Market Garden Manager , Year-Round, full time Three season production manager for our 1 acre no-till market garden. Winter work available in our seven greenhouses, winter farmers' markets, office and commercial kitchen depending on skills / interest. Must be able to help manage seasonal help and train those new to farming to use tools, identify weeds, and help with vegetable production. We are looking for an independent, highly motivated farmer to run all aspects of market garden production with help from 1-2 seasonal employees. Duties include bed prep, seeding, planting, cultivation, irrigation, harvesting, etc. Must be able to keep on top of details and many varied tasks. This is a great position for someone who wants to one day start their own farm or someone who has previously been in a management position. Minimum three years experience working on organically managed farms, ideally no-till growing experience as well but not required.
