Company Overview We are Highview Condominium Association located in Sandwich, MA. Our property consists of 14 acres. There are four residential buildings with 96 units, a club house, and six carports. Highview Condominium is a smoke free campus. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit gardener to join our team. You will be responsible for the aesthetic presentation and health of gardens under the grounds committee chairman. This role requires hands-on horticulture work.

Key Responsibilities Plant Care:

Plant, weed, dead head, and divide mature plantings in flower beds.

Pruning & Trimming:

Light pruning of bushes and removal of invasive vines.

Pest & Disease:

Monitor plant health and diagnose issues.

Site Cleanup:

Ensure walkways and egresses are kept clear of weeds, debris, and litter.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

A minimum of 3 years of prior gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping experience of multiple flower beds.

Knowledge:

Solid understanding of regional plant life, plant identification, horticulture techniques, and local pest control.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform manual labor, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand/walk/kneel for extended periods.

Equipment Proficiency:

Familiarity with common landscaping power tools.

Working Conditions Position Type:

Part-time [15 hours a week for 17 weeks]

Salary/Wage:

$ 26.00 per hour.
