Job Summary This position is located at the Home Depot Garden Center in Saugus, MA. The Plant Group, a leading producer of perennial plants in New England is seeking part time merchandisers to create and maintain eye-catching displays of flowering plants in local Home Depot garden centers. This position is seasonal from approximately April 1st through October. If you love plants and being outdoors, this is the job for you! Responsibilities Include:

• Execute our merchandising goals by unloading plant racks and building attractive displays on garden center tables
• Moving and re-setting product as new deliveries arrive
• Making and accurately displaying price and sale signs
• Keeping the display area clean and well-organized
• Removing inferior product from the tables & discarding in store compactors
• Watering of plants
• Communicating daily with your supervisors and store employees as needed
• Taking photos and sending to supervisors
• Responding to customer inquiries about plants while working in-store
• Exceed standards & comply with safety procedures put forth by

The Plant Group and The Home Depot Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License and daily reliable transportation
• Morning availability is extremely desirable
• Ability to use a smart phone and daily access to email is required for retrieving weekly assignments and sending delivery reports
• Ability to use required phone apps each day for timekeeping and photo sharing
• High energy, independent work that is self-motivated and has a positive attitude
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to pull/push heavy shipping racks into the garden center.
• Ability to perform moderate physical work in all weather conditions including bending, lifting and reaching overhead to move plant products
• Weekend availability may be needed and is required during our busiest times (April-June) This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about gardening, enjoy working in a retail environment, and thrive on creating beautiful displays that attract customers.
