Groundskeeper

Shift :

Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm plus overtime as needed to support special events. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for landscape maintenance. The Groundskeeper will play a vital role in ensuring that our grounds are well-kept and inviting. Responsibilities Maintain and care for lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas, ensuring they are healthy and visually appealing. Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to promote growth and sustainability. Utilize hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and pruners for various gardening tasks. Operate power tools including lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers to maintain grounds efficiently. Perform regular inspections of the landscape to identify areas needing attention or improvement. Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees as part of ongoing landscape projects. Clear debris from walkways, driveways, and other outdoor areas to maintain safety and cleanliness. Collaborate with team members to execute seasonal landscaping projects effectively. Experience Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with lawn care practices and the use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous. A strong understanding of basic horticultural principles is beneficial. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
