This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, applying horticultural knowledge and arborist techniques to support landscape maintenance, tree care, and environmental beautification projects. Whether you're assisting with tree removal, landscape upkeep, or operating specialized equipment, your efforts will contribute directly to creating safe, healthy, and visually appealing outdoor environments. Duties Assist with planting, pruning, trimming, and maintaining trees and shrubs using arborist rigging techniques and proper plant care practices Operate equipment such as chainsaws and hand saws to safely to perform tree removal, pruning, and landscape tasks Support arboricultural activities including, planting, pruning, removals, stump grinding, and storm cleanup. Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to ensure a secure work environment Perform rigging for tree removal or pruning operations using arborist rigging techniques to ensure safe handling of large limbs or trees Maintain tools and equipment in good working order while adhering to safety standards Preferred Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related fields preferred Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and tree removal techniques Experience operating chainsaws, and other landscaping machinery safely Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working at heights on bucket trucks Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to landscape maintenance and tree care Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant environments!
