Job Summary Join our dynamic ground operations team as an Arborist Trainee or Ground Operations Crew member, where you'll play a vital role in supporting tree care and landscape maintenance projects. Responsibilities Assist with tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety. Support rigging operations by learning proper techniques for lifting and securing tree limbs or heavy materials. Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely under supervision to access elevated work areas. Help with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general site cleanup. Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to assist with mapping and site documentation for project planning. Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to ensure a secure work environment. Support crew members in equipment setup, maintenance, and transportation around job sites. Experience Growing experience or interest in tree care, horticulture, landscaping or related fields preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques and land management practices is a plus. Familiarity with tools such as rigging gear or bucket trucks is advantageous but training will be provided. Prior experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance can be beneficial for understanding site needs. A willingness to learn technical skills like GIS mapping or bucket operation is highly valued. Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely in outdoor environments.
