Job Summary Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Crew Member and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in landscape maintenance and construction, and contribute to the creation of stunning landscapes. This paid position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in the landscaping industry. Responsibilities Load/unload trucks, lifting and hauling heavy materials such as plants, construction materials, and debris Plant trees, shrubs and other plants, create and maintain mulch beds, and install decorative stone Perform landscape clean up, including pruning, mulching, and weeding Complete installation and construction of landscaping features such as walkways, patios, ponds, and small retaining walls Operate tools such as tampers, blowers, loaders, fork lifts, drills, and saws Perform other labor and tasks as assigned Properly operate and care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles Follow all safety and compliance guidelines and procedures, including reporting requirements Skills Reliable and ready to work Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining high standards of landscape appearance and safety procedures Physical stamina to perform manual labor and heavy lifting Preferred but not required as training is available: Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and power tools effectively Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and saws for various landscaping tasks Ability to operate larger machinery including excavators when needed for construction or site preparation Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance to support healthy plant growth Understanding of tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and health assessment Basic construction skills for hardscape installation like patios or retaining walls preferred but not required, training is available All candidates must be able to pass a background screening and be authorized to work in the U.S. If the candidate will operate company vehicles, they must have a valid driver's license held for at least 4 years and have a clean driving record.
