Overview Join our team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, applying your skills in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, hardscaping and equipment operation. You'll be instrumental in ensuring our landscapes are healthy, safe, and visually appealing, all while gaining valuable experience in horticulture, hardscape installation, and outdoor project execution. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and keeping outdoor areas vibrant and well-kept. Operate groundskeeping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, and trimmers. Build and maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, and retaining walls by cleaning, repairing, or installing as needed. Perform snow plowing or ice removal during winter months to ensure safe access around properties Follow all safety protocols diligently while handling tools and equipment to prevent accidents and injuries Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or background in landscaping, hardscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred Mechanical knowledge of power tools and landscape equipment is highly desirable Familiarity with plant identification and horticulture practices. Ability to operate lawn care machinery such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and snow plows safely. Knowledge of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments and equipment use Strong attention to detail with excellent physical stamina for manual labor tasks throughout the day Valid experience with groundskeeping tasks including tree trimming, gardening, hardscape installation or repair is a plus This role offers an engaging environment where your hands-on skills will flourish.
