Transportation Allowance Job Overview:
Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hard-working Groundskeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community for our residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and values being part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Walk the property daily to pick up trash, remove debris, and maintain dog waste stations and dumpster areas Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and mulching Use hand tools and power equipment (leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.) Remove snow and apply salt to sidewalks and steps during winter weather Keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns to the Service Supervisor Assist with unit "make-ready" tasks as requested Follow company safety procedures and property security protocols Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to operate power tools and landscaping equipment Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques and outdoor maintenance Good time management and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation required; may be assigned to multiple properties during a shift Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work (standing, walking, bending, kneeling) Able to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) Availability for emergency response during inclement weather
