Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Grounds Maintenance Specialist, where your expertise will transform outdoor spaces into vibrant, well-maintained environments. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of commercial landscapes through skilled groundskeeping, landscaping, and maintenance activities. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create inviting outdoor areas that leave a lasting impression. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your outdoor work experience and mechanical knowledge in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to maintain healthy and attractive grounds Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Conduct tree trimming, plant identification, and pest management to promote plant health and safety Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, and retaining walls to ensure durability and safety Execute snow plowing and de-icing during winter months to keep outdoor areas accessible and safe Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries Experience Proven outdoor work experience in groundskeeping or landscaping environments Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, gardening, tree care, and hardscape upkeep Hands-on experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting a plus Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant identification for effective landscape management a plus Ability to operate power tools safely while adhering to safety protocols Experience with snow plowing or winter grounds maintenance is a plus Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces that enhance the environment while showcasing your skills in grounds maintenance!
