Description:
Seasonal Groundskeeper / Gardener We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Seasonal Groundskeeper/Gardener to help maintain the beauty and appearance of our property throughout the growing season. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in creating well-maintained landscapes, and is comfortable performing a variety of landscaping and property maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
Plant, weed, mulch, water, and maintain flower beds, gardens, and landscaped areas. Trim shrubs and hedges, edge walkways and paths Remove leaves, branches, and other debris to keep grounds clean and attractive. Monitor plant health and report signs of pests, disease, or irrigation issues. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and hand tools. Assist with seasonal planting and landscape improvements. Perform general outdoor maintenance and support other property upkeep projects as needed. Follow all safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working order.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, groundskeeping, or a related field is preferred but not required. Knowledge of plants, flowers, shrubs, and basic horticultural practices is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred.
Schedule:
Seasonal position Full-time or part-time hours available Weekends or holidays may be required depending on property needs
