Job Summary Join our team as an Arborist or Groundsman, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the health, safety, and beauty of outdoor environments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, applying your horticultural knowledge and arborist skills to a variety of projects. You will be responsible for tree care and ensuring safety protocols are followed while utilizing specialized equipment such as saddles and rigging gear. For the right candidate we're willing to pay for: Arborist training/coursework Utility Arborist Certification ISA (International Society Of Aboriculture) Certificate Responsibilities Perform tree preservation such as , pruning, trimming, cabling/bracing and planting to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Operate chainsaws, and other landscaping tools safely and efficiently. Apply arborist rigging techniques for safe tree dismantling and branch removal. Execute rigging procedures and knots to appropriate safety protocols. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines during outdoor operations. Assist with landscape design projects by supporting planting plans and plant care routines. Support team members with climbing trees or working at heights using saddles and ropes. Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, horticulture, or arboriculture is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and tree removal techniques. Hands-on experience operating equipment such as chainsaws and rigging gear is highly desirable.
