Lyman Morse in Mid-Coast Maine is seeking an experienced crane operator to work in the boat hauling crew.

Daily tasks include:

Lift, launch, and haul out powerboats and sailboats Assist riggers to step and unstep boat masts Move vessels safely around the storage yard Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift equipment checks Inspect rigging gear, slings, and chains Follow hand and voice signals from the ground rigging crew Hauling, blocking, and setting down of small to large power and sail boats Transferring boats between onsite storage and work facilities This person should have experience using marine cranes and lifts. Crane operator certification is required. Hydraulic Brownell trailer experience, other heavy equipment or a mechanical background is preferred for this position. Travel lift experience and familiarity with ABYC Standard TY 28 is also a plus.
