Job Description

The Barry County Road Commission is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our team as a Parts Custodian/Grounds Maintenance employee. This is a part-time, long-term position, averaging 32-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of the Road Commission's maintenance facility by managing the parts room inventory, procuring parts and supplies, maintaining Commission buildings and grounds, and performing custodial duties. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid Michigan driver's license required. Experience in inventory control, building maintenance, custodial work, or automotive parts is preferred, but not required. Basic computer skills are desirable. Must be dependable, maintain regular attendance, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Hourly Wage:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience Benefits Michigan Earned Sick Time Act (ESTA) 401(k) Retirement Plan
