Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Lawn and Landscape Laborer, where you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of groundskeeping, landscaping, and maintenance tasks to ensure our clients' properties are pristine, safe, and inviting. Whether working on residential or commercial sites, you'll contribute to transforming outdoor environments with your hands-on skills and attention to detail. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your outdoor work experience in both the Lawn Maintenance side and the Landscape design side, while supporting a thriving landscape operation. Responsibilities Operate hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and excavators to perform landscape tasks efficiently and safely Assist with landscape maintenance activities including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and weeding to keep properties looking their best Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to assist with horticultural tasks and plant health assessments Perform hardscape work such as installing walkways, patios, or retaining walls under supervision Follow all safety procedures diligently during outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and injuries Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor environments is essential Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools is highly beneficial Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and irrigation systems enhances performance in this role Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery such as mowers, trimmers, excavators, and snow plows when needed Knowledge of safety protocols related to landscaping equipment operation and outdoor work environments Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is a plus Drivers License, and reliable transportation - Required.
