All welding candidates will be required to complete an assessment as well as an on-site welding test prior to the interview. Position Summary Reliance One, Inc. is hiring an experienced Aluminum Welder for one of our trusted clients specializing in precision manufacturing and welded assemblies. The Aluminum Welder will utilize MIG and TIG welding equipment to produce aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel components and assemblies in accordance with customer specifications. This position will also support quality activities involving part layouts and inspections, requiring the ability to read blueprints, understand GD&T, utilize inspection tools, and troubleshoot builds using CMM reports. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of industrial welding experience with hands-on TIG and/or MIG aluminum welding experience. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate MIG/TIG welding equipment Perform GTAW and GMAW welding on aluminum and mild steel joints Weld aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel components as required Assemble exhaust assemblies, racks, prototyping fixtures, and other welded products Perform first-piece table layouts Utilize CMM reports to troubleshoot builds and achieve an acceptable first piece Maintain accurate job documentation for production runs Load and operate robotic welding equipment in automatic mode Perform necessary repairs to assemblies following robotic welding Investigate and correct issues identified during the build or inspection process Work with Quality Assurance on part layouts and inspections Ensure completed products meet internal and customer requirements Verify product quality against CMM reports, blueprints, and AWS specifications Utilize hand tools and layout/inspection equipment as required Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Vocational or technical welding training preferred AWS Certification required 1-2 years of welding experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Hands-on TIG and/or MIG aluminum welding experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints Understanding of GD&T notation Experience using hand tools and layout/inspection equipment Strong basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Forklift license preferred Experience with robotic welding equipment preferred Experience troubleshooting builds using CMM reports highly desirable Must be eligible to work in the United States Physical Requirements Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing more than 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb as required Must possess close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with an active manufacturing and welding environment Work Environment This position operates within a manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to: Welding fumes and airborne particles Hazardous chemicals Moving mechanical parts Industrial machinery and equipment Vibration Elevated noise levels Benefits This direct hire opportunity offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Paid Time Off Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Disability insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401(k) 401(k) matching Professional development opportunities Employee referral program Paid training On-the-job training Employee Assistance Program Tuition reimbursement This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Aluminum Welder looking for a direct hire position, four-day workweek, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work on a variety of precision welded assemblies.
