Ground Crew Job Description Job Summary Hutchinson Septic & Excavating is looking to hire for the position of Ground Crew. Candidates must be able to follow direction from the Crew Lead and able to work outside in all kinds of weather conditions at a physically demanding pace. Equipment operating experience is required. Preference given to candidates with CDL A with Manual Transmission endorsement, but we encourage you to apply even if you do not have your endorsements yet. Monday through Friday with holidays off. Wages dependent on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Ground Crew -We work outdoors in all weather conditions. Our main operations include installation of septic systems, brush removal and excavation for garages, pole barns and home setting. This position does require physical labor and the ability to follow directions and safely operate equipment. Preference will be given to any candidates that have already obtained a CDL A with specific endorsements in order to be flexible with ground crew and hauling material/equipment. Skills Experience working outdoors Ability to operate dump trucks and other specialized equipment safely if CDL experienced Proficiency with chainsaws and other hand tools as well as equipment such as skid steers and excavators Strong understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor work and equipment operation Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks

Pay:

$18.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
