Ground Labor Crew Member — Up‑A‑Tree LLC (Licensed & Insured Tree Service) Ground Crew Role Up‑A‑Tree LLC is hiring a dependable Ground Labor Crew Member to support our year‑round operations. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and essential to safe and efficient job‑site performance across both tree service and winter operations. Key Responsibilities Brush & Log Handling — Haul, drag, and stage brush, limbs, and logs for processing Chainsaw Operation — Cut trees, limbs, and sections on the ground following safety protocols Wood Chipper Loading — Feed brush and branches into the chipper safely and efficiently Equipment Use — Operate ground‑level tools and machinery (saws, splitters, hauling equipment) Wood Cutting & Splitting — Process logs into firewood using mechanical splitters and hand tools Job‑Site Cleanup — Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Winter Operations — Assist with snow‑plowing, salting, and winter storm response during winter months Requirements Valid driver's license required; chauffeur's license preferred Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including winter storms Willingness to learn equipment operation and safety procedures Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Experience with chainsaws, landscaping equipment, or snow‑plow operation is a plus, but training is provided What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Year‑round work with a reputable, insured local company Opportunities to grow into climbing, equipment operation, or crew‑lead roles Supportive team environment with a focus on safety and professionalism
