Job Overview The Garden Care Team Member plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty and health of our clients' landscapes throughout the seasons. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in detailed work, and are eager to learn about plant care and landscape maintenance. Team Members work under the direction of a Team Leader and contribute to seasonal services including spring and fall cleanups, as well as ongoing summer garden maintenance. Responsibilities and Duties Perform general garden and landscape bed maintenance, including weeding, edging, pruning, and deadheading Remove debris and maintain clean, well-defined landscape beds Install and refresh mulch as needed Apply plant protection materials when required Monitor plant health and communicate concerns to the Team Leader Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and debris Operate basic hand tools and landscape equipment safely and efficiently Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures while working on job sites Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work Reliable attendance and ability to work long days as project schedules require Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including heat and humidity Ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and work on uneven surfaces and terrain The Perks 401(k) plan with company match Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance FSA/HSA PerkSpot Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance Paid time Off Tuition Reimbursement (after one year of service) Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
