Our Company is looking for a Lawn and Landscaping Apprentice who has drive and passion in this industry and who is determine to do amazing work. This is a full time position. Job Summary Scott Cuts It is seeking an Lawn and Landscaping Apprentice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lawn care maintenance by mowing, edging, trimming and blowing off sidewalks and driveways with other areas as well. You must be able to operate a stand on or a zero turn mower, trimmer, edger & blower. Preferred a year experience. Making sure that the lawns are completed and inspected thoroughly for each property. This role is very fast paced and must be able to keep up with mowing and landscaping responsibilities. Must be able to complete the job in an efficient manner, whoever is mowing the person who is edging and trimming must be able to keep up at the same pace so when the guy gets off the mower the blowing is almost done within reason. Our company does snow removal as well by efficiently clearing snow from designated areas, ensuring safe and accessible pathways during winter weather conditions. Must be able to operate a snowblower and lift up to 100lbs Duties Mowing lawns Edging sidewalks and driveways Trimming around house and objects Trimming bushes Weeding flower beds Mulching Fall and Spring Clean Up Snow Removal Various other landscaping jobs Skills Leadership Communication Active Listening Attention To Detail Openness Motivation Adaptablity Conflict Resolution Drive Teamwork Requirements Show up to work on time Work fast pace Have the proper attire each day waterproof work boots Wear safety glasses and hearing protection on site Show up to the job with a clean uniform each day. Be 18 years old and have a driver's license College education is preferred Have a high school diploma with dates listed on resume Have a vehicle for transportation Be fine with working in all different weather conditions and have controlled allergies Capability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members Snow Removal Requirements - Jackets, hats, waterproof boots and gloves failure of this will not be aloud to work that day and will not get paid. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and be able to walk all day with bending and twisting Must be able to be on there feet for long periods of time.
