Responsibilities Assist in landscape installation projects including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers with precision and care Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as trimming, pruning, and installing irrigation systems Support landscape maintenance activities like weed control, mulching, and soil preparation Use equipment such as excavators and snow plows for site preparation and seasonal clean-up tasks Perform routine landscape repairs including hardscape installation and general site cleanup Conduct tree care activities like trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment effectively Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, and aeration Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques such as irrigation installation and gardening Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators for construction tasks Knowledge of horticulture principles for plant health and landscape design Ability to perform tree trimming, pruning, and tree care safely and efficiently Experience driving a truck and trailer with care Requirements Valid Chauffeur's Drivers License or willing to obtain Proficient in truck and trailer handling, including tight-space maneuvering and reversing Preferred 2+ years experience in landscaping/hardscape field of work This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor work who want to grow their expertise in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
