Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lawn Maintenance Foreman to lead our landscaping and lawn care teams in delivering exceptional outdoor environments. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, supervise crew members, and ensure the highest standards of landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and quality across all projects, from routine lawn care to complex landscaping and construction tasks. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and fertilizing to ensure pristine outdoor spaces. Lead landscaping projects such as planting beds, sod installation, and landscape design implementation with precision and attention to detail. Oversee irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to promote healthy plant growth and water efficiency. Manage tree care operations including pruning, removal, and health assessments to maintain safety and aesthetics. Ensure all crew members adhere to safety protocols and proper equipment usage during construction, gardening, or maintenance tasks. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor quality standards and provide on-the-spot guidance or corrections as needed. Assist in training new team members on landscape techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation to foster skill development. Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or related fields with a strong understanding of plant care and landscape design. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments with excellent leadership skills. Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing schedules, fertilization, aeration and pest management. Familiarity with construction practices related to outdoor projects such as fencing, paving or garden bed installation. Skilled in tree care services including pruning methods and hazard assessment for safety compliance. Experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting for efficient water use. Strong organizational abilities combined with clear communication skills to coordinate multiple projects effectively.
