Paid Holidays Consistent Work Schedules Company Provided Training Primary Responsibilities:
Manage, supervise, and direct grounds team within assigned facility. Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees. Assign needed coverage, give special instructions and/or assignments Identify staff development and training needs and ensure training is obtained. Conduct inspections and investigate customer concerns. Maintains facility grounds, which includes cleaning the yard, trimming shrubbery, raking, planting, and weeding. Cleans parking lots and driveways. Remove snow from sidewalks and driveways and spread sand, salt to prevent slipping, requiring additional hours to be worked before/after regular shift. Respond to scheduled and/or unscheduled Emergency events. Set up and clean up for outdoor and indoor athletic activities. Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for assigned facility Follow all safety standards as outlined in company policy and OSHA regulations. Perform/supervise minor repairs of all ground equipment. Perform preventative maintenance procedures on grounds equipment and maintaining records. Understand written and verbal tasks with the ability to delegate as needed. Additional duties as assigned or needed.
Position Requirements:
Prior grounds experience GED/High School Diploma Valid driver's license (no restrictions) and clean driving history Must be able to pass a background check Small engine repair experience. Management or leadership experience. Operating different types of ground equipment experience. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to lead a team. Maintain a positive attitude which supports team performance and productivity. Must have team aptitude and approach. Taking care of our customers, while they take care of their business!
