Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure vibrant and healthy outdoor spaces Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Identify different plant species and assess their health to recommend appropriate care or treatment Manage pest control by applying pesticides responsibly following safety protocols and regulations Install and repair irrigation systems to optimize water efficiency for lawns and gardens Assist with hardscape projects such as patio installation, retaining walls, or walkways using appropriate construction techniques Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote safety and aesthetic appeal while practicing proper horticultural methods Experience Previous experience with landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided Mechanical knowledge related to operating lawn equipment, power tools, excavators, or irrigation systems is highly desirable Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, plant identification, and snow plowing enhances your effectiveness in this role Construction experience or background in horticulture will support your ability to handle diverse project requirements Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments while maintaining safety standards Join us in creating stunning landscapes that inspire!
