Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and pests to support healthy landscape growth and proper plant care. Perform irrigation system checks and repairs to ensure optimal watering schedules and prevent water waste. Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and promote lush growth. Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, weeds, and ensuring safety standards are met at all times. Support the installation of hardscape features like pathways, patios, or retaining walls as needed for landscape projects. Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or groundskeeping background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor environments is essential. Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping tools and equipment effectively. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, edging, pruning, and plant identification. Knowledge of irrigation systems, pesticide management, and horticulture principles is a plus. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while handling power tools and ground maintenance equipment.
