Overview We are seeking a motivated Grounds Crew Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces, ensuring a pristine environment for our guests and visitors. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help uphold the high standards of our resort's landscape and grounds. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and gardening to keep outdoor areas attractive and healthy. Operate grounds maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, power tools, chainsaws, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and system functionality for athletic fields and landscaped areas. Assist with golf course groundskeeping by maintaining fairways, greens, bunkers, and surrounding landscapes. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, manual handling of materials, and equipment setup or repair to support groundskeeping activities. Apply pesticides or herbicides following safety protocols to control pests and weeds on the property. Conduct routine equipment maintenance to ensure all tools and machinery operate safely and effectively. Qualifications Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of irrigation systems, power tool safety, lawn care techniques, and landscape maintenance practices. Ability to operate company vehicles and grounds maintenance equipment responsibly. Comfortable with manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and using hand tools or power tools such as chainsaws. Strong attention to safety procedures related to power tools, pesticide management, and equipment maintenance. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor as needed. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in golf course groundskeeping and landscaping.
