Job Description

Overview DunCo Property Care is looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented Groundskeeper to help maintain our residential and commercial properties. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in creating clean, well‑kept landscapes, this role is a great fit. Duties Perform routine landscape maintenance, including weeding, edging, and garden bed care Trim shrubs, hedges, and small trees to maintain healthy, well‑shaped plantings Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, trimming shrubs, and installing landscape features. Maintain beach areas through raking, debris removal, and targeted weed clearing Refresh mulch beds and maintain clean, well‑defined landscape borders Carry out routine landscape maintenance such as leaf removal, debris cleanup, and pathway clearing. Inspect property grounds regularly and address issues such as overgrowth, debris, or hazards Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, spring clean‑ups, and fall clean‑ups Operate and maintain basic landscaping tools and equipment safely Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating as needed. Report property damage, irrigation issues, or landscape concerns to supervisor Support special projects such as planting, landscape enhancements, or minor outdoor repairs Skills Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience with gardening, horticulture principles, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of plant health, pruning techniques, and general horticulture Ability to identify and manage weeds, pests, and common landscape issues Ability to maintaining clean, well‑defined garden beds and mulch areas Reliable, self‑motivated work style with consistent follow‑through Comfortable with outdoor, physical work in various weather conditions. Proficient in operating landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): How would you describe your knowledge on plant identification and care?
Experience:
Groundskeeping, landscaping or lawn care: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Drivers License (Required)
