A Landscaping or Groundskeeping Worker provides landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Provides care for plants and trees including mowing, trimming and planting, and repairs driveways, walks, benches or other structures.
Full Time | Non-Exempt. (Monday-Saturday; weather dependent). Availability through mid to late fall required Position Summary We are looking for motivated and dependable Garden Maintenance Team Members to help maintain residential and commercial landscapes. In this role, you will support the upkeep of outdoor spaces, including garden beds, walkways, parking areas, and drainage systems. Key Responsibilities Perform general groundskeeping and property maintenance tasks Assist in identifying and reporting landscape or plant health issues Weed, trim, and edge around walkways, flower beds, and structures Plant and maintain flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees Rake, mulch, prune, and maintain landscaped areas as needed Water plants and lawns as required Apply fertilizers and pest control treatments (applicator's license required) Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on landscaping equipment Clean and prepare job sites before departure, including debris removal and material handling Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to operate basic landscaping tools (shears, backpack blower, rake, etc.) Positive attitude and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Capable of working independently and as part of a team Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including occasional weekends Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and proof of insurability Strong customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or gardening experience (6+ months preferred) Chemical Applicator's License (preferred, not required)
