In person at residential jobsites throughout the Twin Cities metro / Dakota County The Position Renew Landscaping is looking for dependable, hardworking Landscape & Hardscape Laborers to join our installation crews. We specialize in high-quality residential landscape construction including retaining walls, paver patios, natural stone, drainage, grading, decorative rock, mulch, sod, and plantings. This is a hands-on outdoor construction position. We are looking for people who show up consistently, work hard, learn quickly, take pride in their work, and want the opportunity to develop valuable landscape construction skills. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and wants to learn. What You'll Be Doing Assist with construction of retaining walls, paver patios, walkways, steps, and other hardscape projects. Excavate and prepare areas for walls, patios, drainage systems, and landscaping. Move and install block, pavers, natural stone, aggregate, black dirt, rock, and other materials. Assist with compacting and preparing Class 5 and other aggregate bases. Install landscape fabric, decorative rock, mulch, edging, sod, seed, trees, shrubs, and plants. Assist with French drains, catch basins, drain tile, downspout extensions, and grading projects. Load and unload trucks, trailers, tools, and materials. Operate compactors, saws, wheelbarrows, hand tools, and other landscape equipment. Assist with skid steer and mini skid operations as experience allows. Maintain clean and organized jobsites. Properly care for company tools and equipment. Follow direction from the Foreman and help keep projects moving efficiently. Maintain a professional attitude around customers and their properties. Complete final cleanup and restoration at the end of projects. What We're Looking For Dependable and able to arrive on time consistently. Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a crew. Comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor construction work. Ability to lift and carry approximately 50-75 lbs when necessary. Comfortable working outdoors during Minnesota spring, summer, and fall conditions. Willingness to learn new skills and take direction. Attention to detail and pride in finished work. Landscape, construction, hardscape, concrete, masonry, or equipment experience is a plus. Experience with retaining walls and paver installation is highly preferred. Skid steer or mini skid experience is a plus. Valid driver's license is preferred but not required for every position. Experience towing trailers is a plus. What We Offer $24.00
