Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and become a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors in various weather conditions, applying your skills in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction. You'll contribute to creating stunning landscapes, maintaining existing grounds, and supporting landscape projects that enhance community and client properties. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers while ensuring proper soil preparation and planting techniques Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf and vibrant gardens Operate hand tools and power equipment like trimmers, blowers, lawnmowers, and small excavators to support landscaping projects Support hardscape construction activities including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other stonework Conduct landscape maintenance duties such as pruning trees and shrubs, applying mulch, watering plants, and managing irrigation systems Prepare sites for new projects by clearing debris, grading soil with excavators or other machinery, and ensuring safety standards are met during all operations Assist with snow plowing and removal during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and community areas Qualifications Prior experience or knowledge of landscaping practices including lawn care, gardening, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance preferred Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools and small construction equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems Ability to handle hand tools safely and efficiently while following safety protocols Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary Knowledge of horticulture principles or landscaping techniques is a plus but not required Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and supporting project goals Valid driver's license preferred; certification in operating machinery like excavators is a bonus Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills make a real difference!
