  • , you are responsible for providing general labor for aerial and underground construction projects.

In addition, you will: + Be responsible for various manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites with the use of hand tools like shovels, rakes, and picks + Work in outdoor utility construction sites + Transport heavy equipment to and from the job site each day + Build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems + Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field + Learn and train to use various kinds of tools and equipment + Work locally 50% of the year, and travel 50% of the year within the Midwest + Work on 7-10 day travel projects, 50+ hours a week
Qualifications About You:
+ Safety is part of your everyday mindset + You are a hands-on problem solver who enjoys tackling challenging tasks + You have at least 1 year of experience working outdoors, preferably in a utilities/construction environment + Team-oriented and willing to get in the field alongside your crew + Looking for long-term opportunities and growing within telecom construction (fiber splicing, coax, drilling, etc.) + Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, independently and consistently + Willing and able to get a DOT Med Card if needed + You have a valid driver's license with a clean record for the past 3 years, required (CDL preferred) + Open to travel M-F per diem (up to 50% within MN/WI and 50+ hours per week, depending on the weather), and working overtime consistently Compensation of $18-$21 per hour, based on licenses and the experience.
