Location:
Monticello School District Centrally located on Interstate 94 less than 25 miles northwest of Maple Grove and 30 miles southeast of Saint Cloud, Monticello is home to five brick and mortar schools and two nature-based facilities serving more than 4,000 students annually. Monticello consistently ranks in the top 50 school districts in the state as measured by a number of organizations and metrics, and performs above the state average in graduation rates, test scores, and early college opportunities. Monticello Public Schools has Playground Supervisor - Education Support Specialist (ESS) positions available throughout the district. This position will generally work 174-176 days per year based on the school calendar and training. Hour per day vary by assignment, but most are 1 - 2.5 hours per day. Education Support Specialist work directly with our students and can make a significant impact on our students' school experience. The district is currently hiring Education Support Specialist / Paraprofessionals for recess supervision. Must be eager to spend the day working with children outdoors in various weather conditions. Responsibilities Include:
Monitor students in the playground and general areas. Work with students of all grade levels and all abilities. Take initiative to handle minor discipline situations according to District guidelines. Establish a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district Maintain confidentiality standards by adhering to the district's data privacy policy. Experience working with diverse students and families
Current Assignments Available Include:
Pinewood Elementary:
2.75 Hours / Day (Monday - Friday)
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Experience working with elementary aged student preferred.
Hourly Pay Range:
