Pay Rate:
$22.50 an hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the grounds, including but not limited to cutting lawn, fertilizing, watering, planting, pruning, trimming, seeding, pickup garbage, and laying sod. Cut trees. Remove snow shovel snow for the entire facility Operate loaders, trucks, mowers, blowers, hoes, and the like Maintain equipment and vehicles Maintain irrigation systems. Demolition, as needed. Set-up and take down for concerts Push mow and weed whip Snow removal machine and shovel
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Required Knowledge and Certification:
Valid Driver's License Eighteen (18) months experience in the operation of heavy equipment Proven knowledge and ability to operate skid steer loader, dump trucks, snow blowers, backhoe and front-end loaders
Preferred Knowledge and Certification:
Pesticide application license / certificate Valid Class "C" Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Required Skills:
Accurate and detail-oriented Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities Strong mechanical aptitude, oil changes change hydraulic hoses, fix tires, etc.
Required Abilities:
Ability to work fast and efficiently Ability to independently complete multiple tasks in a professional manner Ability to learn appropriate chemical usage and proper equipment usage Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner Ability to maintain high confidentiality Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects regularly Must have the ability to independently lift minimum 25 pounds routinely Must have manual dexterity necessary to manipulate tools and equipment Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions Must have good eye hand coordination Must be able to operate foot pedals
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Maintenance shop environment including excessive noise, such as power tools, dust and fumes from paints, varnishes, stains and the like Required to work in extreme weather such as wet, damp, high wind, ice and snow Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters Must handle hazardous materials Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
