Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves assisting with landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and the operation of various landscaping tools and equipment. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, contributing to the aesthetic appeal and health of landscaped areas. Your efforts will help ensure that properties look their best while adhering to safety standards and environmental best practices. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Operate ground maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hand tools safely and efficiently Identify different plant species and perform plant care activities like watering, and fertilizing using appropriate herbicide and fertilizer techniques Support tree trimming, shrub pruning, and other horticultural activities to promote healthy growth and safety Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Assist with groundskeeping duties such as debris removal, soil preparation, planting new greenery, and general landscaping improvements Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting techniques Familiarity with the operation of landscaping power tools such as trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and lawn equipment Ability to identify common plants and trees to assist with plant care routines Understanding of safety procedures related to equipment operation. Mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting minor equipment repairs Strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail Join us in transforming outdoor environments into stunning landscapes!
