We are looking for someone who has a passion for creating high-end landscape projects! The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of various landscaping techniques and practices. This role involves leading the landscaping team to create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces, ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards. Responsibilities Roles and responsibilities Hardscape experience creating retaining walls, patios, steps, walkways, etc. Design, create & maintain all types of landscape projects including, but not limited to hardscapes, softscapes, water features, outdoor lighting & patios, including snow removal during the winter season Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis Installation of plants, edging, softscapes/hardscapes, sod, irrigation & lighting. Hands on, physical work, and operating a variety of machinery Ability to lead and work effectively on a crew Must have experience and knowledge of pavers, retaining walls, plants, trees, and all other aspects of landscaping Awareness of flowers/plants, proper care and identification a plus Ability to operate a skid, trucks/trailers, and power equipment Perform landscape installation tasks including planting, mulching, and sodding. Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers safely and efficiently. Assist in the design and layout of landscape projects based on schematics provided. Engage in masonry work including bricklaying and stonework for patios and walkways. Carry out concrete forming and finishing tasks for various landscape structures. Execute frame carpentry tasks as needed for landscape features like decks or pergolas. Lay tiles for pathways or decorative features in gardens. Apply stucco finishes to outdoor structures as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Requirements 3+ years of landscape construction, hardscape & irrigation experience a plus. This position requires regular heavy lifting, bending, kneeling and working outdoors in all types of weather. Ability to use a smart phone or data-enable device for communication and reporting At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role Strong knowledge of plants, hardscape materials, grading, and irrigation systems Ability to read blueprints and plan sets Skilled in operating landscape equipment (skid steers, compactors, trenchers, etc.) Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Excellent communication and team leadership skills Valid driver's license Full-time, with paid over time
