Laborer - Ground Operations Specialist

There are several well-paying career paths you can take within this company and we can help get you there! Qualifications Must possess a valid driver's license. Must pass company-driving test. Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions. Must be able to hear verbal instructions from a distance. Responsibilities Assist tree climber or aerial lift operator with tree care operations. Load and unload trucks with logs, brush and debris often weighing 50 lbs. or more. Feeds brush and smaller logs into brush chipper. Use rigging lines / ropes to securely lower limbs and logs. Use specialized lowering devices to assist in the controlled lowering of limbs and logs. Send tools and other items up to the climber or aerial lift operator using ropes. Keep work area clean and orderly. Help prepare tools, saws, etc. for assigned job task. Perform work from the ground using handsaws, poles saws, and other hand tools. Drive trucks or operate other equipment as assigned. Service trucks and equipment and perform basic preventative maintenance. Keeps trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion. Reports the need for repairs to truck and equipment to crew leader. Safeguards employees and public from hazards in and around the work area, staying in frequent voice communication with workers aloft. Helps enforce job safety practices. Has fun while working!'
