Job Description
Description The City of Jefferson is currently accepting applications for Seasonal Parks Maintenance at our Golf Course, for our Parks and Recreation Department. Examples of Duties Assist staff with mowing, weeding, mulching, janitorial and/or general building maintenance. Will operate a variety of power equipment and utility vehicles. Must represent Parks and Recreation in a positive, professional, and friendly manner. Outdoor work is required. Typical Qualifications Must have the ability to push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to traverse rough terrain and work outdoors in extreme temperatures. Landscaping and tree care experience, grounds maintenance, recreation facility maintenance, athletic field maintenance, golf course maintenance or construction experience preferred. Knowledge of power equipment operation experience preferred. 18 years of age preferred, 16 years of age required. Missouri Class E or higher driver's license preferred. Supplemental Information Hours vary between 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, although weekend work may be required. Golf Course Maintenance includes weekend hours. Hourly salary varies by position and experience. EEO-M/F/D/V
