Groundskeeper Location:

Manchester, MO, 63021 Primary Purpose of Job As the Groundskeeper, your primary responsibility is to maintain the exterior of Midwest Petroleum locations. The Groundskeeper will also assist other maintenance team members as directed by the Maintenance Manager. This position requires organizing and inventorying tools and materials within the warehouse. The majority of the work involves general landscaping and cleaning of Midwest Petroleum locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clear all trash, weeds, brush, and debris from retail locations. Inventory all groundskeeping supplies and ensure they are safe and in good working condition. Sweep or blow all hotel roadside entrances, walkways, and hotel back areas. Prepare outdoor areas for various weather conditions by: Weatherproofing Tying down unsecured items Winterizing Remove snow during winter conditions and keep outdoor areas safe during bad weather, including spreading deicer on walkways and steps. Perform light excavation using shovels, picks, and other tools to dig trenches and level ground. Handle any other work assigned at the supervisor's discretion. Education and Experience Qualifications High School Diploma Minimum 1 year experience in Landscaping related field Experience with commercial grade lawn equipment preferred
