Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apartment Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our residential community's outdoor spaces. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and general outdoor upkeep to ensure an inviting environment for residents and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and gardening to enhance curb appeal. Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping machinery safely and efficiently. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and adjusting watering schedules to promote healthy plant growth. Identify various plants, trees, and pests; apply pesticides responsibly following safety protocols when necessary. Conduct regular grounds inspections to identify hazards or needed repairs; report issues promptly for resolution. Execute seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow clearing (if applicable), and soil aeration to keep outdoor areas safe and attractive. Follow safety procedures diligently during all groundskeeping activities to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and others. Power Washing buuldings etc Maintaining property apearance and picking up trash Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping and groundskeeping equipment. Proficiency in landscape maintenance practices including mowing, pruning, planting, and gardening techniques. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management best practices. Experience with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repairs. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, lawn care equipment, and tree trimming machinery safely. Familiarity with grounds maintenance safety protocols and outdoor work conditions. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in an outdoor setting.
