Job Description
Overview Now Hiring in the KC Metro Area. Northland areas and Overland Park area. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team in maintaining the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces, including pools, picnic areas, property cleanliness, and landscaped areas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment to ensure pristine grounds that enhance the environment and meet high standards of safety and aesthetics. The ideal candidate will be passionate about groundskeeping, skilled in equipment operation, and eager to contribute to a well-maintained, vibrant landscape. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as grounds pick up, trash removal, weed removal, powerwashing, cleaning, basement maintenance, assistance with pools, and additional tasks to keep outdoor areas attractive and healthy. Some snow removal will be required in the winter Handle manual labor tasks such as heavy lifting, manual handling of materials, and equipment maintenance to support ongoing grounds upkeep Use hand tools effectively for gardening, landscaping, and general grounds improvement projects Follow power tool safety guidelines during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries Qualifications Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required for grounds maintenance projects Valid driver's license and insurance is required Strong understanding of power tool safety standards and equipment maintenance practices Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions with the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor as needed Join our team to help create stunning outdoor environments while developing your skills in a dynamic setting.
