This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing a variety of landscaping and groundskeeping skills to ensure pristine lawns, gardens, and hardscape features. Your expertise will help transform landscapes into vibrant, well-kept environments that enhance community aesthetics and functionality. Whether you're trimming trees, mowing lawns, or installing irrigation systems, your work will make a visible difference every day! Duties Operate lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, power tools, and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently to maintain lawns, gardens, and hardscape areas Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, trimming trees, shrubbery, and flower beds to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for diverse plantings Conduct regular grounds inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair and perform necessary maintenance or repairs Apply pesticides or fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants and maintain healthy landscapes Assist with snow plowing and outdoor winter maintenance to keep pathways safe during inclement weather Follow safety procedures diligently while operating equipment and handling construction or horticultural materials Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools, power equipment, and grounds maintenance machinery Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, tree care, and hardscape installation or repair Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping equipment responsibly and effectively Ability to identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests for proper care and management Knowledge of pesticide management practices aligned with safety standards Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques Outdoor work experience in diverse weather conditions with a focus on safety protocol adherence Basic construction skills for installing or repairing hardscape features such as walkways or retaining walls This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor environments who thrive working independently or as part of a team.
