Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a GroundsKeeper in Foxworth, MS. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through various horticultural and landscaping tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, landscape maintenance, and working outdoors, contributing to the maintenance of a ranch property. Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces. Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Operating heavy equipment such as tractors with various attachments Utilize hand tools for planting, weeding, mulching, and soil preparation to support plant health and landscape design. Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes. Conduct gardening tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and maintaining garden beds. Maintain the health of lawns and gardens through fertilization, pest control, and other horticultural practices. Support general land management activities including debris removal, soil aeration, and landscape cleanup. Maintain exterior building cleanliness including any litter as well as pressure washing when required. Follow safety protocols when handling tools and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries. Skills Experience with irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques. Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest management. Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes. Ability to operate power tools safely including trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and lawnmowers. Strong understanding of gardening principles and horticulture best practices. Knowledge on operating heavy equipment such as tractors and skid steer. As well as ability to perform maintenance when needed. Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Prior experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Pay Starting pay for qualified candidates is $18.00 per hour. After a 90 day assessment of work performed, pay will increase accordingly.
