Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Ranch Grounds Maintenance Technician to maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our ranch. This position is responsible for the upkeep of landscaping, roads, fences, buildings, equipment, and general ranch grounds. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining a beautiful property, and is comfortable operating equipment. Responsibilities Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas. Operate tractors, skid steers, mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, and other ranch equipment safely. Repair and maintain fences, gates, corrals, and ranch roads. Install and maintain irrigation systems, water lines, and stock tanks. Perform tree trimming, brush removal, weed control, and seasonal cleanup. Maintain barns, shops, arenas, and ranch buildings. Keep ranch equipment clean, fueled, and in good working condition. Assist with snow removal and storm cleanup when necessary. Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized work environment. Assist with other ranch projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience in ranch, farm, landscaping, or property maintenance preferred. Ability to safely operate tractors and other heavy equipment. Basic knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently. Valid driver's license: clean driving record preferred. This is a working ranch, experience around horses and livestock is a plus. Takes pride in keeping the ranch looking its best. Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, bending, walking, climbing, and standing. Ability to work outdoors year-round in heat, cold, rain, and snow. Comfortable operating power tools and heavy equipment safely.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
