Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! You'll be responsible for supporting landscape projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and helping to deliver exceptional outdoor environments that enhance community aesthetics. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and weeding to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and snow plows safely and efficiently Support installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls under supervision Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering of landscapes Identify various plants and trees to support horticultural health and proper landscape design Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and injuries Perform general grounds upkeep including debris removal, soil preparation, and seasonal clean-up tasks Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment operation Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management is a plus Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks Strong understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments Excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and working in various weather conditions Willingness to learn new skills related to hardscape installation, snow plowing, tree trimming, and other landscaping specialties This role offers an engaging environment where your hands-on skills will make a real difference in community spaces.
