Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscaper and bring outdoor spaces to life with your hands-on expertise! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing landscapes through a variety of tasks that promote healthy growth, aesthetic appeal, and functional outdoor environments. Whether working on residential, commercial, or public projects, you'll play a vital part in transforming outdoor areas into beautiful, sustainable spaces. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, plant care, and construction while working in a lively and supportive environment. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal. Identify various plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs to properly care for them and inform clients or team members about their needs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to install hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape structures. Apply pesticides responsibly following safety guidelines to control pests and protect plant health. Perform general landscape maintenance including soil preparation, planting new greenery, fertilizing, and mulching to promote lush growth. Qualifications Must have valid driver's license 3 years landscaping experience Demonstrated mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping and construction projects. Experience with landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, lawn care, pruning, and planting. Knowledge of plant identification and horticulture principles to ensure proper care of diverse flora. Familiarity with pesticide management protocols for safe application and environmental protection. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping machinery safely and efficiently. Construction experience is preferred for hardscape installation projects involving patios or retaining walls. Strong understanding of tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and health assessment. Excellent gardening skills combined with a proactive attitude towards landscape upkeep.
