Landscaper

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in landscape maintenance, and contribute to transforming outdoor areas into stunning, well-maintained spaces. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy turf growth. Maintain landscape features such as planting beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like pathways and patios. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, trimming, pruning, and general maintenance. Operate equipment such as lawn mowers, tree trimmers, weed whackers, aerators, and irrigation systems to support landscape projects and seasonal needs. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote safety and aesthetic appeal. Assist with landscape installation projects involving hardscape construction, planting schemes, and soil preparation. Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks to keep outdoor spaces pristine throughout the year. Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and power tools effectively. Strong lawn care skills including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control. Expertise in landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, planting, irrigation system installation and repair. Familiarity with landscaping techniques involving hardscape features like patios or walkways. Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently for gardening and construction tasks. Experience with tree care practices including trimming and tree trimming techniques. Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth and landscape design. Strong sense of motivation Good listening skills and the ability to follow directions Eye for detail and takes pride in doing the job right Ability to work independently and with a team

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
