Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Worker to join our team For a small tree business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of skills related to grounds maintenance, including tree care, land landscape management. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on equipment Operate various equipment including rigs and bucket trucks for tree trimming and care. Conduct tree trimming and care activities to promote growth and safety Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by disposing of debris and waste appropriately. Qualifications Experience with landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred. Proficiency in operating bucket trucks and other landscaping equipment Such as a chipper Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and pruning. Familiarity with GIS technology is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A valid driver's license may be required.
