40 Hours per week, 7:30am-4:30pm

ASAP Duties:

1) Park maintenance and janitorial work: Cleaning restrooms and other visitor center and maintenance shop facilities Removing litter and/ or natural debris from parking lot, sidewalks, trails, etc. Mowing and maintaining grounds throughout the park 2)

Trail-work:

Outdoor manual labor repairing existing trails and creating new trail re-routes Trimming fire lines, service roads, trails 3) Operating park machinery: riding mower, tractor, chainsaw, weed-eater, etc. 4) Assisting permanent staff in performance of their duties 5) Participating on prescribed burns after obtaining all necessary training

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age Must possess a valid driver's license Must be able to work in all types of weather Must be willing to work flexible hours when emergencies, events, or prescribed burns require longer hours Previous work outdoors or maintenance experience preferred How to
