Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the landscape and grounds of our facility, ensuring that all outdoor areas are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a hands-on approach to landscape maintenance, utilizing various tools and equipment to perform tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance on landscapes, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Irrigate gardens and lawns as needed to ensure proper growth and health of plants. Conduct groundskeeping duties such as weeding, planting, and mulching flower beds. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any repairs needed. Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects as required. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks. Skills Proficient in using power tools and hand tools related to landscaping and maintenance. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, including lawn care and irrigation practices. Ability to perform groundskeeping duties efficiently with attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good physical stamina for performing manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to landscape management.
