Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic landscape maintenance team as a Landscape Team Member! In this energetic role, you'll be at the forefront of creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, functional, and visually stunning. Your hands-on work will directly impact the aesthetic appeal and health of various grounds, from parks and commercial properties to residential landscapes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your outdoor skills while working in a collaborative environment that values safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship. We work Monday-Friday only, no weekends! Duties Operate grounds equipment including, trimmers, power tools, and irrigation systems to keep landscapes pristine and healthy. Perform landscape tasks such as pruning, planting, and mulching to enhance curb appeal. Identify plants accurately and apply horticultural knowledge to promote healthy growth and pest management. Manage irrigation systems effectively to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Conduct landscape repairs and hardscape installations, including tree trimming and ground leveling. Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure team safety. Assist with pesticide management by applying treatments responsibly according to regulations and best practices. Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or background in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred. Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and hand tools is highly desirable. Strong understanding of plant identification, horticulture principles, and lawn care techniques preferred. Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently in various weather conditions. Knowledge of irrigation systems and hardscape installation is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep and safety compliance. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods of time. Must be comfortable working outdoors in diverse environments while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
